“We live in a world where we have to hide to make love, while violence is practiced in broad daylight.”
Sandy Hook, where innocent babies were slaughtered as they sat in a place where they should be safe. I thought things would change.
Orlando, where mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, cousins and aunties and uncles grieve, because their loved one were slaughtered. Those loved ones were in a place where they thought they were safe.
Nine people in a church. A church!
The numbers change, the horror does not.
To stand and point your finger and say “see, I told you so. I was right” is abhorrent, and disgusting.
I mourn with the rest of the world, and pray for a change.
